Project experience
- Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Forecasting – Ethan led the development of the EV charging bays demand forecast model; combining EV forecasts, airport passenger demand data and electric vehicle range considerations to forecast the number of required electric vehicle charging bays.
- Commodity and Cruise Trade Forecasting and Economic Impact Analysis – This project involved developing commodity and cruise ship passenger forecasts, and analysing the economic impact of different growth, strategic and land use scenarios for a confidential port precinct. Ethan was responsible for methodology development, regression modelling and analysis, commodity and cruise ship passenger forecasting, assisting with economic impact analysis through Input Output Modelling.
- Aeronautical Freight Pricing Strategy – This project involved a study to develop the aeronautical pricing strategy for domestic, international and dedicated freight services for a confidential airport client. Ethan was responsible for the development of the aeronautical passenger pricing model and airline deal model, sensitivity analysis, economic analysis and benchmarking analysis.
- Western Sydney Strategy Fuel Pipeline Study – This project explored the need for a new fuel pipeline and storage facilities in Western Sydney by investigating the growth potential for both aviation and non-aviation fuels.
- Grafton Hospital Redevelopment Cost Benefit Analysis – developed travel time savings analysis that was used as an input into the cost benefit analysis of the Grafton Hospital Redevelopment
- Cairns Marina Pricing Review – Ethan was responsible for investigative research, cluster analysis using R, building a cost-revenue model to determine user ability-to-pay and building the market definition and benchmarking analysis framework.
- Tasmania Cruise Ship Carrying Capacity Study – This project involved developing a framework for analysing the carrying capacity of Tasmania through analysing the constraints of its key tourism destinations.
