The second round of successful projects from the National Stronger Regions Fund (NSRF) were announced by the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development. This program focuses on strengthening and building the economies in Australia’s regions. As part of this process, PCYC Inala was successful in their bid to receive funding for a $1.6 million redevelopment of its facilities to increase its gym floor space and provide additional activity and office space. The redevelopment will see PCYC become a community hub aimed at maximising the range and variety of programs to economically and socially disadvantage residents.

NineSquared was honoured to assist PCYC Inala by preparing a cost-benefit analysis of the redevelopment, and pleased such an important project for the community received the much needed funding. More information on NineSquared’s involvement can be found on the NineSquared website (https://ninesquared.com.au/portfolio-items/pcyc-cost-benefit-analysis/) and information in the successfully funded projects and round 3 submissions is available on the NSFR website (http://investment.infrastructure.gov.au/funding/NSRF/).
