Seqwater’s urban bulk water prices and revenues were most recently assessed by the QCA for the 2018/19 to 2020/21 period. Seqwater expended considerable time and resources in preparing for this review and executing its strategies throughout the review in accord with the QCA’s processes and timelines.
Seqwater sought NineSquared’s assistance in assessing its performance throughout this review and advising on learnings that could be considered in preparing and strategising for future QCA regulated pricing reviews.
NineSquared conducted a comprehensive review by interviewing internal and external stakeholders, along with analysing a range of relevant documents, including submissions to the QCA and supporting documentation across all key aspects of Seqwater’s business.
The findings were overlayed with NineSquared’s extensive knowledge of other regulated entities and best practice approaches to regulated pricing reviews, including pre-empting areas of exposure for future regulatory assessments.
