NineSquared continues to build its transportation, commercial advisory and infrastructure expertise with Steve Richards joining the team as a Special Adviser focussing on investment and commercial advisory and government relations.
Steve is an accomplished strategy, policy and infrastructure advisory leader in the public and private sectors, with extensive and strong experience across both economic and social markets. He has established credentials in client and business development, including client relationship executive roles with the Australian Government Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and Royal Bank of Canada.
Steve joins NineSquared from Aurecon where he was the Director, Advisory and Client Relationship Executive. Prior to Aurecon, Steve held a number of senior roles at the South Australian Department of Treasury and Finance, The Queensland Department of Infrastructure and Planning and Queensland Treasury.
Steve’s expertise includes undertaking organisational reviews, project leadership and assurance (including Gateway Reviews), business cases, due-diligence, major and complex procurement including Public Private Partnership projects, and international development assistance.
Steve has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Tax, a Bachelor of Educational Studies and is a Member of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants.
