NineSquared is pleased to announce that Bruce Wilson and Professor Peter Little have agreed to sit on its advisory board from June 2016. Both Bruce and Peter bring years of experience in government and academia as well as having strong links into the private sector. NineSquared’s directors have asked Bruce and Peter to come on as advisers to the firm, taking on an on-going role in advising on direction setting and performance as well as providing ad hoc advice to the firm as required. We welcome them both and look forward to working with them to continue to deliver value to our clients.
About Bruce and Peter
Bruce Wilson AM
B.E.(Hons1) M.Eng.Sc. FIEAust GAICD
Bruce retired in 2011 after a very distinguished career in government. Early on, this included senior roles in both line and central agencies in Queensland and with the Commonwealth in Canberra. From 1989, he was Chief Executive (Director-General) of a number of Queensland Departments for some twenty-two years, working for governments of both sides of politics twice each.
Most notable was Bruce’s thirteen years as Director-General of Transport, overseeing major project delivery, service enhancements and industry reforms, across all transport modes. He was also a leading contributor to national reforms.
Since retirement, Bruce has been active in part-time consulting, mentoring and board roles.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws, Master of Laws and a PhD, is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, a Fellow of CPA Australia and a Fellow of the Queensland Academy of the Arts and Sciences.
