NineSquared director Ben Ellis and Dr Neil Douglas from Douglas Economics paper have had their paper “The economics of financing and funding public transport projects” accepted at Australia’s premier transport research conference – the Australian Transport Research Forum (ATRF). Ben and other NineSquared directors will be attending the ATRF and look forward to catching up with other delegates at the end of September. The paper examines whether project investment decisions can be wholly separated from the financing of the project, particularly taking into account the differential impact on economic efficiency from different taxation options.
